Tuition offered: Maths (IB, A-level, GCSE, iGCSE, Secondary & Primary), Further Maths (A level and GCSE)
I have over 6 years of experience in teaching Maths to students from ages 8 to 18 as well as adult learners. I have taught over 3000 online Maths lessons. With enough time and through hard work I believe any grade is achievable. Most of my students improve in Maths by at least one grade. The level of Maths I teach include key stage 2, key stage 3, GCSE, iGCSE, A-level, Further Maths A-level and IB. I am familiar with most of the Maths exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, OCR MEI and CIE. My approach to teaching is to make my lessons engaging and to make students think during lessons. Instead of telling students the answer, I give suggestions instead to help students answer the question themselves. I try to develop the student's confidence in Maths and their problem-solving skills. I first cover the areas the student is finding difficult. I then go through past paper questions to identify other areas the student needs to improve on. I also teach important exam techniques to help improve the student's grade. Such as preventing mistakes, improving their timing when answering questions and what they should do when they are unsure about a question. If you would like to have a free 30 minute trial lesson feel free to get in touch.
