For nearly 5 years I have been a full-time private tutor and have many students and families who have been with me for several years now. I have a number of students who have been home tutored and have taken their sciences and maths solely with me. Their results have been excellent. I enjoy working with all of my students very much and am extremely proud of their achievements.

I have 25 years of experience teaching chemistry and science at an outstanding school, where I was head of chemistry for 10 years. I am now a full-time online tutor, teaching chemistry at A-level, which I specialise in, and chemistry, physics and biology at GCSE. I can also offer assistance in the chemical and physical aspects of A level biology. I find one of my most effective strategies is to answer banks of exam questions with the student, and reflect on the mark schemes . A recent student wrote: "Hi Simon, I got a 9 and an average of 91% in Chemistry. Thank you so much for all of your help." As a full-time tutor, I am available for daytime slots as well as evenings.
